The Grand setup of Brand Modi

 

Narendra Modi has been working on an impression up until now.


It is that he and his party alone are the ones that are close to the public and hear the sentiments of the general public. That the opposition follows their lead and is far away from the general public sentiments.



The current student protests contested this notion. The PM and the BJP was nowhere near to what the sentiments of the students were. 

Trying to build this up late, the prime minister has been posting insta style orignal videos online for the past 2 days in an attempt to restore the impression of being directly connected with the people better than the opposition.


He would probably try to discredit the CJP and the Congress now and maybe even those protesting physically jn Delhi and other places that these are hooligans and should not be talked with by the government. The government may try to stall action from the protestors while it buys itself time to have direct communication with the students from platforms like instagram.


The government would like to stay in control of the narrative. But, the damage to its reputation has already been done. The congress leadership has shown their willingness to stand for public issues, the question is that will they be able to continue to keep making stand for the benefit of the public on isssues of importance, will be for everyone to see.
