Shaheen Bagh - Threat to nation's safety.

Of course nation safety comes first.
But, it must be remembered that the women protesting at shaheen bagh today were the same that supported the government on the issue of triple talaq.

A party is projecting those women as being Pakistan parast, as being people who want to divide the nation on religious basis..

But, tell me, is the identity of hindu a religious / communal identity, or is it a national identity? People clearly understand that hindu is a religious communal identity. Then, why are we promoting such identities that will create a divide between us as a nation? Why are we becoming narrow minded as Indians. My nationalism does not teach me to discriminate people on the basis of faith or belief or religious identity. In the times of today, nationalism is true religious identity, religious identity does not have a value any more, we are known to this world as Indians, not as of a particular religion, on our passports and visa our only identity is that of Indian, and only because the word Indian is there. There is value of those documents, otherwise they have no value. Our religion does jot saves us there, our nation does.

As far as these women trying to divide our nation on communal basis are concerned, the people accusing them of being communal or anti-national are themselves communal and paskistan-minded. They just take name of different religion, but, their thoughts and actions are very similar to those of the idea of Pakistan and those of Md Ali Jinnah. They just wish for a hindu pakistan. But, as long as I am here and people like me are here, we shall always stand against such efforts.

Now, regarding the mistrust that the people have regarding the govt, they must be all communicated and asked as to what their demands are in clear terms and reason with them about the reasonableness of the same. The govt should ask them, treat them with care, rather than asking others to shoot them with bullets, such an attitude is a sad state of affairs and shall add to the discredit of the government.

Also, the protestors too should clear their name, they should also present support for the cause of resettlement of Kashmiris pandits and should also express solidarity with the minorities of Pakistan who face persecution there. Merely expressing lip support would not be enough, but, at least that will be a beginning and will send a strong message. Such efforts would only strengthen their just cause(if indeed it is) against the government.
